The Minnesota Grape Growers Association is holding its annual Cold Climate Conference this weekend in St. Paul, drawing an expected crowd of 600 participants. That’s a long way from the association’s first gathering in 1976, when Minnesota had a single licensed winery and 12 commercial grape growers.
